I spy with my...

San Diego eye, Spring in La Jolla. One of my greatest joys is going on random adventures with my husband, and one of the loveliest places anyone could visit is the beach at La Jolla Cove in San Diego. This place is known for its prestigious zip code, along with the cute wildlife found there, mainly sea lions swimming nearby or laying on the rocks. The water is always fresh, a bit on the cold side, but there's hardly anything to complain about.

When coming here, be prepared to stay some long hours because you get the most relaxing feeling listening to waves crashing and standing on the cliffs watching the most beautiful scenery in the background. You can most certainly also come to make lunch or dinner there, as the beach provides tons of grass space and barbecue grills, as well as easy access restrooms and showers On certain times of the year, many swimming "camps" take place, and you can see many kids and their floaties frolicking around the shore. To add to the excitement, there are also plenty of small restaurants and biking routes for you to go or ride through, and you honestly cannot find views like the ones in La Jolla anywhere else in San Diego. The small coves are also one of the "must do's" when you visit (the tourists love this a lot)!

It really is like straight out of a postcard, and I wouldn't want to be from anywhere else.
